Meet Penny
I was born in England, came to the US for vacation when I was 10, and ended up staying. I grew up in Chapel Hill, NC and attended the University of North Carolina where I met and married my college sweetheart. We settled in Greensboro, NC where we raised two children who have graduated from UNC.
After working for a small credit union for a couple of years, I accepted a position with a local mortgage company and started what has been a wonderful and fulfilling career. I have been helping families navigate the mortgage process since 1996 and have loved (nearly) every minute of it.
I look forward to working with you and want to be your trusted Mortgage Specialist for life!
Loan Programs
Conventional
The classic loan type - with lower downpayments this will require private mortgage insurance, but I have a lot of options to help.
FHA
Gov't sponsored program that helps borrowers who can't afford a high down payment or who may have credit score issues.
USDA
These loans are gov't backed and are 0% down programs that help set you up with loans as long as the house isn't in the middle of a city.
VA
VA loans are a benefit to our veterans. They're low interest rate loans with no downpayment required.
