I approach mortgage origination as a key component to anyone’s overall financial plan. Cash flow, planning for future college expenses and saving for retirement are important life events affecting most American families.
With over 30 years of experience in mortgage originating, I hold the designation of Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) presented by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and am a Maryland State certified instructor for the State of Maryland’s mandated 40-hour loan originator licensing course. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sciences and Conservation Resource Management.
As a past president of the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers, I have participated in the passage of Maryland’s requirements for continuing Education Hours for loan orginators. In addition, I have served on a select panel of individuals who developed, drafted and submitted language for HR1040, which was passed as a State law requiring the full licensing of mortgage brokers doing business in the State of Maryland prior to national standards coming into regulation.
