After graduating from Marietta College I began my career with a Fortune 500 company in the financial services industry. While this was a great entry into building my knowledge of lending, I immediately recognized that an individual or family buying a home required a much greater dedication to their personal situation and needs. I did not see that many of the large banks and financial institutions really understood what an individual or family needed during the home buying and financing process. After a lot of careful thought over a few years, I decided to form my own company. I founded Equity Resources in 1993 with the core purpose of “Improving the lives of families.” This remains our purpose and dedication today. This is
not a “slogan” that I created but rather a vision that I built Equity Resources around. I am very proud that
our entire team has this focus and as a result, we are celebrating our 28th anniversary in business this year.

Equity Resources, Inc. is a privately owned and operated mortgage bank that is headquartered in Central Ohio. We currently have offices throughout Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. We are licensed in 17 states and Washington DC. We are a mortgage bank and do sell direct to Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae. We also service many of our own loans. The families that we have the privilege to work with during the mortgage process is our driving focus.
