Born and raised in the Netherlands, I spent my college years studying English and linguistics in the UK, followed by 5 years in Rome (Italy) as an English and German teacher, where I met and married my American husband. We moved to the US in December of 1998 where he serves as a Pastor in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, and  where I first worked for a major US bank before moving to a smaller, more intimate mortgage lender, Equity Resources. Together we have 3 young adult daughters, Anja, Nika and Katya, our two cats and a dog.

I truly believe that homeownership has the power to change neighborhoods for the better, and restore pride and self-worth for its people, while-empowering them to build wealth through equity. I love being able to spend time with my borrowers, getting to know them, educating and helping them work through credit obstacles, then customizing the right mortgage programs for them, time and time again, until they are debt free.
