In 1994 I left a Fortune 500 company where I managed a $16 million dollar consumer loan portfolio to join Equity Resources as a Loan Originator and the company’s first employee. Over the last 21 years I have received training in Mortgage Finance, Customer Service, and Sales/Marketing from some of the top trainers in the mortgage industry.
I have helped over 2,000 families with their mortgage needs and many have come back to me multiple times because of the personal service I provide. I have been fortunate enough to have over 75% of my business come to me as referrals from Raving Fan clients I have made. I take great pride in the fact I have been able to help second and third generations of families with their mortgage loans.
In 2011 I was asked by our company President to build a team in Pennsylvania. I was able to attract some of the top Originators in the state and build one of the highest-producing teams at Equity Resources. This was accomplished by selecting Loan Originators who shared our philosophy of exceeding a client’s expectations. We do this by providing honest advice on mortgage products, communicating with them on a regular basis, and committing to “Client for Life” principles.
I believe the other reason for the team’s success was my consistency in providing them with the support and training they needed to keep up with our constantly changing industry. Each team member had the confidence and knowledge they needed to be respected as an expert by both their clients and referral partners. Many of them have had year over year growth in their production of over 21%.
I accepted my new role as Vice President of Development in January 2014. In this role I will be tasked with helping the company grow in both existing and new markets by applying the same principles I used in PA to attract the top Originators in these markets. While this position is very challenging, I am honored to help Equity Resources continue its growth and commitment to creating Raving Fan clients.
I currently reside in Granville, Ohio with my wife Jennifer, who also works at Equity Resources, our two teenage daughters Emilee and Abby, and our son Will.
The classic loan type - with lower downpayments this will require private mortgage insurance, but I have a lot of options to help.
Gov't sponsored program that helps borrowers who can't afford a high down payment or who may have credit score issues.
These loans are gov't backed and are 0% down programs that help set you up with loans as long as the house isn't in the middle of a city.
VA loans are a benefit to our veterans. They're low interest rate loans with no downpayment required.
